Along with getting another release of the wallet ready, please note, graphically, a large overhaul is under way. Design/UI currently in place should be considered a placeholder, and it will not be there on the

We are also running a promotion to help grow the forums here. Create an account here at Pirl Community Forum, and make an introductory post here in this section: Please create a new thread, and write a paragraph telling us a little bit about yourself. For example, what got you interested in cryptocurrency? Do you have any interesting hobbies? What are your thoughts about Pirl?
After that, you can claim your five Pirl booty in the claim section of the forum here https://forum.pirl.io/c/pirl-bounties-contests-and-giveaways/booty-claims Please create a new thread saying what booty you are claiming (FORUMPROMO), a link to your introductory post, and your Pirl address. Our Community Managers will be keeping up with these claims, but it could take a day or so to get your booty.
This promotion will end on 10/25/2017
So To Recap for 5 Pirl -
Please remember that this forum promotion is good for one claim per person.
We have a basic framework for implementing voting for Pirl. Voting is to be used in Pirl for deciding on the development path and possibly other details regarding the coin. This will be a two level voting process.
Everyone will be able to create a profile on the blockchain. First, the voting options will be presented to the community. Everyone with X amount (to be determined) of Pirl contained in their profile account will be able to choose which option they want the most.
After voting has determined the most popular option, the vote goes into a second round of voting. This vote will be either to pass the proposed option, or to veto it. Each vote will be weighted according to the amount of Pirl that the profile holds. Each cast vote will also be required to burn a certain amount of Pirl.
We believe this system will not only give every person a voice in the decision making process, but also take into consideration peoples’ stake in the coin. Also, for those people concerned about the inflation rate, this is one tool that will be used to tackle that.
Coin Supply & Masternodes
We know that these are hot topics that the community is concerned with. However to proceed as planned with the development of the coin, the voting mechanism needs to be implemented before important decisions are made on these topics. For example, “how many coins are needed to have a masternode?”…this will need to be voted on by the community. The same things goes for the coin supply and inflation topics. Although there is a plan to implement burning some coins in the voting process, this doesn’t address the whole issue completely.
We are well aware of everyone’s concerns and will do our best to address these as best we can. For now, we all must wait for the community to vote on these topics as a whole.
One of our goals is to be listed on more exchanges, and we have been in talks with several about getting Pirl listed. Before moving forward with that, we need to get the main page of https://pirl.io updated and completed, and full of all of the information someone would need about the coin.
So, to recap, we are working on the following things:
- Renovating Pirl’s home page
@chrisno and @indiealexh are working on releasing an entirely new block explorer
- Getting Pirl listed on more exchanges
- Implementing the voting system
- After the voting system is implemented, masternodes and coin supply details will be voted upon and implemented.
We would love any questions, comments, or suggestions from the community! Please visit this thread to reply to this announcement:
